Women and Work Funding Background - this programme finished in March 2015

W&W funding is provided by Improve Ltd and seeks to address gender imbalances at higher levels in the UK food industry, particularly amongst management and technical roles.

At the Seafood Training Academy we have successfully bid for two rounds of W&W funding, the most recent round was secured on Friday 24th October 2014. Funding will expire in early March 2015. Almost all of the funding has been allocated to individual applicants already. We do have some unallocated funding for advanced fish quality assessment courses and there is the possibility of another round of funding as we approach March and funds are underspent.

If you wish to take advantage of this fund and have not already secured funding then you MUST ACT NOW.
