This website website does not store any information which could, on its own, allow us to identify individual users of this site without their permission.

When users access the online learning programmes and associated online tests (Food Safety, H&S and Fish Smoking etc) , their computers will automatically be issued with 'cookies'. These cookies are text files which identify users' computers to the webhosting service servers. The website will then create 'session' cookies, which will be used to store user preferences while exploring the site, e.g. a preference to see text-only pages.

Cookies themselves do not identify individual users, but they do identify the computer used. They are deleted on departure from the website or webpage. Cookies are not used elsewhere on this website.

GDPR

While the Seafood Academy is made up of various partners led by the Sea Fish Industry Authority who as individual organisations may keep records of personal information, none of that information is collected via this website. As such the Seafood Training Academy does not have any personal information as defined by GDPR although individual partners may well do so. Should you wish to make a request under the appropriate legisaltion then please contact one of the Academy partners or email onshore@seafish.co.uk.
