Scottish Seafood Training Network - Provider Profiles

Providers within the network provide training services, apprenticeships and also facilities and venues for training to take place in. While there are many such providers in Scotland, the following are of those that are Seafish approved and who are active in supporting the Network.

With the exception of the NFFF's three day fish frying management training course which is delivered in Leeds, all of the training programmes in the Seafood Academy Prospectus are available in Scotland, subject to demand. Scotland is well served by Seafish approved trainers (see below).

Food Hygiene and Health & Safety programmes are accredited by the Royal Environmental Health Institute for Scotland (REHIS).

Jean is the training coordinator for the Scottish Seafood Training Network and may well be your first point of contact for information on training in Scotland. Jean delivers food hygiene and health & safety training at various levels throughout Grampian and Scotland using Seafish and REHIS open and eLearning programmes.

In her role as a Technical Consultant for the Scottish Seafood Association she assists businesses with Audit Preparation and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
