Trailblazer Apprenticeships/Apprenticeships for England

Background

Trailblazer Apprenticeships for the seafood industry include:

  • Food Process Operations (Levels 2 and 3) - This includes seafood processing and manufacturing. Developed by the Food and Drink National Skills Academy, more information is available on this webpage;
  • Fishmongering (Level 2) - This includes supermarket, independent and mobile fishmongers. Launched in 2017; More information is available on this webpage
  • Fish Frying - following discussions during 2017, Seafish will support pilots to roll out production cooking and other hospitality standards in the fish frying sector. See this webpage for more information on these standards and any trial.
