within the network consist of those that provide training
services, apprenticeships and also facilities and venues for
training to take place in. While there are many such providers
in Wales, the following profiles are of those that have joined
the Network and who are active in supporting the Network
- based in Port Talbot, ceased activity in food industry in 2017.
REMIT Training Ltd - based in London, but with staff in
North Wales, REMIT Training are able to deliver in Wales
a range of food safety, fishmongering and knife skills related
training programmes on behalf of Seafish and the Wales Network.
Seafood Industry Training Association - for food
safety and H&S training through open learning, primarily
in South Wales, but elsewhere in Wales subject to timing.
College, Llandudno - In collaboration with Seafish
and the Wales network, the College is working towards delivery
of knife skills, product knowledge, cooking and smoking training
courses for both the public and business.
