Fishmongering Trailblazer

Background to the Trailblazer

The Fishmonger Trailblazer Apprenticeship was developed during 2015 to 2017.

The Apprenticeship Standard was developed and approved in 2016, with the

Assessment Plan approved in 2017.

Only after the approval of these two key documents could the work continue to develop the End Point Assessment and External Quality Assurance parts of the programme.

This will take some time and while it is being completed, the first batch of apprentices will be able to begin their development of the skills, knowldge and behaviours needed to become competent Fishmongers and complete their apprenticeships.
