Apprenticeships for Fish Friers
The Seafood Training Academy has a great deal of information for fish friers. The main topic of interest in 2015 (and also 2016) is fish and shellfish apprenticeships as they apply to fish friers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
There are two levels of apprenticeship available.
Level 2: Intermediate Apprenticeships - aimed at counter and table service, preparation and other support staff up to and including the frier.

Level 3: Advanced Apprenticeships - aimed at the frier, managers and owner/manager. This apprenticeship has much more about running a business, operating, monitoring and managing the frying process. See this leaflet.
