Latest (2013) developments for Fishmongers During 2013, the Level 2 Fish and Shellfish Industry Skills (FSIS) vocational qualification was joined (for England Wales and Northern Ireland) with a Level 3 FSIS qualification. This new, management level qualification is seen by many to be a professional qualification for fishmongers. For more information please consult the links above or go to these webpages:
Scotland's Level 3 qualification is under development and will be available in 2014. - see here for more information. Archived During 2010/11 a range of new fish and shellfish qualifications were launched. These new qualifications are work-based Level 2 IPQs in fish and shellfish and training-course-based Level 3 VRQs. They include product knowledge and fishmonger skills qualifications.
